Born May 7, 1953 in Meyersdale, he is the son of Mada (Friedline) Barclay of Rockwood and the late Clyde Barclay. He is survived by his mother; wife of 21 years, Janet (Faulk) Barclay; daughter, Amber, and son Jarred, both living at home. He is the brother of Craig, married to Carla, Barclay of Somerset, Kirby, married to Susan Barclay of Somerset, and Jill, married to Dale Schultz of Rockwood. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. He was a 1971 graduate of Rockwood High School and also a graduate from Potomac State and West Virginia University. He was employed by Bedford-Somerset Mental Health and Mental Retardation with 20 years of service. He was the current director of the Crisis Team and the CERT Team, and was past director of the Base Service Unit. He was a Civil War re-enactor who was attached to Knap's Independent Battery E. and appeared in the feature film "Glory." He was also an avid golfer and WVU football fan. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Susan Winger officiating. Interment at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Special Olympics at 414 Conn Road, Somerset, Pa. 15501 or Make A Wish Foundation at 555 Grant St. Pittsburgh, Pa. 15219.
