Barclay, 78, of Rockwood RD 2, died April 16, 1989, at his residence. Born Dec. 17, 1910, in Trent, son of the late Marcellus and Elizabeth (Miller) Barclay. Preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Younkin Barclay, in July 1988; brothers, Frank and William, and sister, Pearl Hostetler; also a grandson, Harry (Sweeny) Gerhardt. Survived by 4 daughters: Mrs. Jerome (Lois) Corcoran, Mrs. James (Joan) Sanner, both of Rockwood RD 2; Carol Dwire of Derry, Pa.; Mrs. Roger (Avis) Latuch, Somerset RD 1; a son, John C. Barclay, married to former Beverly Littleton, Warrenton, Va.; 13 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Also survived by a lifetime faithful friend, Cliff Mognet. Retired founder and former owner of Lost Mountain Campground; also a well-known local stonemason. Lifetime member of the Trent Rod and Gun Club. Member of the Middlecreek Church of the Brethren and the Rockwood American Legion. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m., the Rev. Gregory L.
