  BARKLEY
  
    Blanche Barkley, 87, Confluence, died March 16, 1998, at her home.  Born
  July 25, 1910, in Bakersville, daughter of the late Lewis W. and Emma
  (Hileman) Barkley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
  by a brother, Clarence Barkley, and a foster brother, Darwin Riley. 
  Survived by several cousins.  Member of the Confluence Women's Civic Club
  and the Confluence United Methodist Church.  Friends will be received from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence,
  where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. John H.
  Snyder officiating.  Interment, Addison Cemetery.
