  BARKLEY
  
    Eldon H. Barkley, 77, of East Catherine Street, Somerset, died Oct. 24,
  1985, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate.  Born May 3, 1908, in Somerset
  Township, the son of the late William Lohr and Verna (Hay) Barkley.  Also
  preceded in death by a brother, Ralph.  Survived by his wife, the former
  Ruth Hoke; two sons, Gary, Middletown, Pa., and Robert, Camp Hill, Pa.  He
  was the brother of:  Mrs. Warren (Jean) Alnor, South Plainfield, N.J.; Mrs.
  Wilma (Fay) Beckner, Somerset; Dwight W., New Kensington; Ruth E., Somerset
  RD 6.  A member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Lavansville, and was a
  former teacher in Somerset Schools for 46 years.  Friends will be received
  7-9 p.m. Saturday and noon-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Richard E.
  Hauger Funeral Home, Somerset.  Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m.
  Monday, the Rev. Walter Startzel officiating. Interment, Lavansville
  Cemetery.
