  Lawrence R. "Larry" Barkley, 50, Confluence, died March 24, 2005, at his home.
  He was born July 18, 1954, in Mercer. A son of Beatrice (Dollman) Barkley of
  Mercer and the late Ronald Barkley. In addition to his mother he is survived by
  his wife, Iva (Ream) Barkley; a daughter, Michelle Barkley; sons Larry and Chad
  Barkley; and a grandson Alex, all of Confluence. Also a brother, Scott Barkley,
  and sisters, Suzanne Bundrant and MaryEllen Porterfield, all of Mercer. He was a
  member of the Turkeyfoot High School Athletic Boosters. Friends will be received
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home
  Confluence, where a service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Timothy
  Gosnell officiating. Interment in Barkley-Ream Cemetery.
