She was born near Grantsville, Md., March 4, 1846, and was aged 84 years, 2 months and 5 days. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Durst, and was united in marriage with John Rush Lenhart, on March 21, 1867. To them were born the following named children: Mrs. Mary C. Rodehaver, Mrs. Florence R. Wilhelm and Mrs. Laura B. Lichty, Ross F., Jesse W., George W., William N., Samuel K., and Edward L. Lenhart. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Barkley was a good and faithful mother and a friend to both great and small. She will be greatly missed by her many relatives and friends. Rev. Duff of Addison officiated at her funeral. Undertaker H. B. Rishebarger of Addison had charge of the body which was laid to rest on Mother's Day in the cemetery at Addison. Her six sons acted as pall-bearers. Meyersdale Republican, May 15, 1930
