  BARKMAN
  
    Billie D. Barkman, 67, of West Garrett Street, Somerset, died Jan. 12,
  1985, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 12, 1917, in Salisbury,
  daughter of the late William and Grace (Murray) Dietz.  She was also
  preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth and Robert; a sister, Romaine
  Garlitz; and her husband, Blair A.  Survived by son, Jon A., Somerset. 
  Sister of Adeline Harrison, Betty Graham, Leora Vehil, Anna Belle Dietz and
  James B., all of Somerset.  Member of Calvary United Methodist Church,
  Somerset Welfare League, American Legion Auxiliary and the Somerset Country
  Club. She was employed as a county clerk in the office of District Justice
  Jon Barkman.  Friends were received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at
  the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Monday
  (today) at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Harry Sherry and the
  Rev. Robert G. Doyle officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  Family
  suggests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Somerset Welfare
  League or to the American Cancer Society.
