   John W. Barlow, 73, Addison, died March 16, 2007, in Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg. He
  was born Aug. 9, 1933, in Washington County, a son of the late William and Mary
  (Openshaw) Barlow. He is survived by his wife, Betsy (Wright) Barlow; mother-in-law,
  Betty Wright; sons, Johnny, Addison; Gary, and wife, Jennifer, Confluence, and Bill and
  wife, Megan, Fort Hill; grandchildren, Molly, Garrison and Abigail Barlow; brother, James
  Barlow, Elizabeth; sisters, Sara Kennedy, Hanover; and Nancy Barlow, Zeeland, Michigan. He
  was a member of the Addison United Methodist Church and for-mer Sunday School teacher and
  trustee. Member of Confluence Lions Club, PSEA and NEA. He belonged to the Boys Scouts of
  America for 61 years beginning in 1945. He was scout master of Confluence Troop 150 for
  many years and served as a committee-man until his death. He retired from Turkeyfoot
  Valley School District after teaching for 30 years. No viewing or visitation. A
  cele-bration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Addison United
  Methodist Church with the Rev. John Snyder officiat-ing. In lieu of flowers, memorial
  contributions may be made to the Addison United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or the
  Addison Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements by Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence.
