Born Jan. 12, 1897 in Summit Township, a daughter of the late Charles and Olga Thukla (Michael) Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman H. Barmoy in 1958 and 13 brothers and sisters. Surviving are one daughter, Olga Jane Page and her husband, Joseph of College Park, Md.; three sons, John W. Barmoy and wife Sara Jane (Wilson) and James B. Barmoy, both of Lavale, Md., and Ronald M. Barmoy and wife Jean (Bradley) of Frostburg, Md.; one brother, William R. Austin and wife, Jean of Somerset; one sister-in-law, Edith Austin of Salisbury, Md.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of the Amity United Church of Christ, Helping Hands Sunday School Class, the Ladies Aid Society, War Mothers and Garden Club. She was also a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Bruce Ashlock officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
