  CHARLES H. BARNDT
  
    Charles H. Barndt, 60, Somerset, formerly of Quecreek, died Oct. 5, 1983,
  in Somerset State Hospital.
    He was born June 5, 1923, in Gray, a son of the late John W. and Alice
  (Shadle) Barndt.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived
  by two brothers:  John N., Rockwood RD 1; and William L. Shadle, Tuscon,
  Ariz.
    Friends were received in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where services
  were conducted with the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes officiating.  Interment,
  Bethany Cemetery.
