  BARNDT
  
    Earl Stewart Barndt, 53, of Listie, died Feb. 14, 1979, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 9, 1925, in Somerset, son of the late Ira
  Earl and Lucie Pearl (Miller) Barndt.  Survived by wife, the former Mona
  Holsopple, and two children: Mrs. Thomas (Barbara) Bowlin of Somerset and
  John C. of Somerset RD 2; and three grandchildren.  Brother of Anna Mae
  Hochard of Somerset RD 2; Catherine of Somerset; and Edward, of Sipesville;
  Charles and Roy, both of Somerset RD 3; Mrs. Raymond (Grace) Raygor of
  Mercer; Mrs. Curtis (Irene) Hart, Ligonier; and James and Ralph of
  Somerset.   Member of Listie Lutheran Church and employed by the Bethlehem
  Steel Co., Johnstown Plant.  Veteran of Korean War.  Friends will be
  received after 2 p.m. Friday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where
  funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Listie
  Lutheran Church, the Rev. Robert E. Thomas officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Body will lie in state at the church from
  10 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
