Barndt, Ephraim

  Following an illness of but a few days with a cold although he had been 
suffering more or less from diabetes for the past year and a half, died on 
Saturday at his home at the eastern edge of town aged about 58 years. His mother 
aged up in the eighties, and a brother David survive as does another brother in 
Chattanooga, Tenn. The family came to this country from Russia about 28 years 
ago. Dr. A. E. Truxal, of the Reformed Church conducted the funeral services on 
Monday afternoon, following which interment was made in the Union Cemetery.
