O. Barnes of Friedens, Pa., formerly of Meyersdale, died in the Cleveland Clinic Hospital on Saturday morning, September 17th, at the age of 35 years, 11 months and 21 days. Her death followed an operation and was due to a complication of diseases. Besides her mother and husband, Mrs. Barnes is survived by two sisters and one brother - Mrs. J. H. Zinn of Meyersdale, Mrs. Charles Faust of Lima, Ohio and George Kuhs, of Cumberland, Md. Funeral services were conducted on Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Zinn on North Street, by Rev. H. K. Hilner, followed by interment in Union Cemetery with Undertaker Price in charge of the funeral arrangements. For several years before leaving Meyersdale, Mrs. Barnes was an efficient and ever courteous switchboard operator of the Somerset Telephone Exchange.
