  BARNETT
  
    Donald M. Barnett, 61, St. Thomas, formerly of Stoystown and Somerset,
  died Jan. 25, 1997, at home.  Born Feb. 23, 1935, in Somerset.  Son of J.
  Merle and Marian (Eicher) Barnett. Preceded in death by parents and infant
  grandson.  Survived by wife of 41 years, the former S. Jane Koontz, and
  these children: Donna (Mrs. Randy) Heckman, Wanda (Mrs. Rick) Kerohner of
  St. Thomas and Beverly (Mrs. Ron) Strait, Chambersburg.  Seven
  grandchildren, one great grandson; sisters, Suzanne (Mrs. Raymond) Dunmyer,
  Stoystown; Janet Thomas, Knoxville, Md.; numerous nieces and nephews. 
  Active member of Marion United Methodist Church, where service was held
  Jan. 28 with burial at St. Thomas Cemetery.
