  BARNETT
  
    Harry K. Barnett, 73, of Somerset RD 2, died Oct. 29, 1989, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 14, 1915, in Lincoln Township, son of the late William
  and Clara (Miller) Barnett.  Also preceded in death by brothers Ray, Lloyd
  and Logan; sisters, Hazel Friedline, Cora Ayers, and Irene Pyle.  Survived
  by wife, the former Helen Powell, and these children: Joan Kathleen Barnett
  and Larry K., both of Sipesville; grandchildren, Aron Hunt and Heather
  Brooks Barnett.  Brother of Mrs. Lena McKelligott, Corinth, N.Y.; Mrs.
  Clarence (Stella) Winship, Jessup, Md.; Mrs. Ralph (Anna Belle) Emert,
  Shanksville; Mrs. Robert (Lucille) Snyder, Somerset RD 2.  Member of
  Christ-Casebeer Lutheran Church.  Charter member and long-time secretary of
  the Sipesville Lions Club; member of the DAV; life member of Sipesville
  Volunteer Fire Department, American Legion.  Former member of the Somerset
  Area School Board.  A member of many other charitable, civic and
  conservation organizations.  Army veteran of World War II; retired
  postmaster of Sipesville.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be
  conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. George Walton officiating.
  Interment, Casebeer Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Children's
  Aid Home and Society at 574 E. Main Street, Somerset.
