  BARNETT
  
    Ralph E. Barnett, 84, Johnstown, formerly of Somerset, died April 1,
  1990, in Allegheny Lutheran Home, Johnstown. Born Sept. 17, 1905, in
  Somerset Township, son of late William Wilson and Elizabeth (Pile)
  Barnett.  Also preceded in death by sister, Mrs. Fred (Grace) Bastian. 
  Survived by wife, former Irene C. Berkey, with whom he celebrated 50th
  wedding anniversary July 29, 1989; and these children: William B., Norwalk,
  Conn.; and Mrs. P. Jeffrey (Mary Ann) Hay, Los Alamos, N.M.; grandchildren:
  David Jeffrey Hay and Michael Barnett Hay.  Member of Trinity Lutheran
  Church, Somerset Lodge 358, F&AM; Altoona Consistory and Jaffa Shrine. 
  Also member of Somerset County Historical and Genealogical Society and
  Johnstown Camera Club.  Friends received from 3 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 1
  p.m. Thursday, Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.  Private interment to
  follow in Somerset County Memorial Park.  Family requests contributions to
  American Cancer Society, South Lynn Avenue, Somerset, Pa. 15501, or to
  favorite charity.
