Born Aug. 2, 1894 in Tenno Trento, Italy, a son of Victor and Rose (Baroni) Baroni. He is survived by his wife, the former Giuseppina (Tranquillini) Baroni. On July 25, 1979 they celebrated 50 years of marriage. He is also survived by these children: Monsignor Gino Baroni, assistant secretary Department of Housing and Urban Development, Washington, D.C.; Angelo, Philadelphia; Mary Halkias, Pittsburgh; Rose Hebda, Springfield, Va.; and Master Sergeant John Baroni, U.S. Air Force, Plattsmouth, Neb.; 14 grandchildren; and one brother, Emil, Tenno Trento, Italy. He was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Acosta, Acosta Volunteer Fire Deprtment [sic], a retired employee of Pittsburgh Consolidated Coal Co. and a member of the UMWA. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Friday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where wake service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. John's Roman Catholic Church with Monsignior [sic] Gino Baroni and the Rev. Father J.
