Baroni, 78, of Million Dollar Highway, Stoystown, died March 15, 1999, at Tranquility Hospice Hospital in Austell, Ga. Born Nov. 6, 1920, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of John and Mary (Arrich) Baroni. Preceded in death by parents, wife Agnes D. (Lapina) on Nov. 25, 1998. Survived by a son, Thomas, Coral Springs, Fla.; a daughter, Michelle, wife of Raymond Barton, of Marietta, Ga.; four grandchildren, brother Eugene T., Elton, and 32 nieces and nephews. The first graduate of Conemaugh Twp. High School, Class of 1937. Graduated cum laude from St. Francis College, Loretto, Class of 1948. Attained rank of First Sergeant while serving 6 years in the military during World War II. With wife Agnes, owned and operated Baroni's Hotel, Benscreek, for 13 years. Served as field agent for Pennsylvania Dept. of Transportation. Retired as director of Department of Justice, State of Pennsylvania. Following cremation, interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 168 W. St., Somerset, 15501. Arrangements under the direction of the Robert H.
