Barron, 72, formerly of Boswell and Davidsville, died July 8, 1979, at the Allegheny Lutheran Home in Johnstown. Born Jan. 29, 1907 in Boswell, a daughter of Robert P. and Lilly Mae (Daniels) Horner. Preceded in death by parents; husband, James D. Barron Sr.; son, James D. Jr.; two sisters, Margaret H. Rice and Bertha H. Hanna; and one granddaughter, Candace Williamson. Survived by daughter, Maxine B., wife of John E. Williamson of Davidsville; and four grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jewel Williamson, and Jamie and James Barron. Sister of Louise, wife of Espy G. Thomas of Boswell. Member of the St. David's Lutheran Church, Davidsville, Rebekah Lodge of Somerset, the American Legion Auxiliary of Boswell. She was Republican Chairman of Boswell Borough for many years; and a former school teacher. Family receiving friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the George E. Mason Funeral home, Davidsville, where brief prayer services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday followed by church services at 11 a.m. at St. David's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Luther A.
