Born July 21, 1923 in Edie, the daughter of Charles and Sadie (Miller) Bell. Preceded in death by her parents; husband Dean in 1999; brother, Lester Bell and sister, Pauline Berkey. Survived by these children: Larry, married to Linda (Turcheck) Barron Birmingham, Ala., Nancy Dady of Somerset and Virginia, married to James Barron of Aberdeen, Md. Also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and brother Ray Bell of Ohio. Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Somerset. She was a retired employee of Gilmour Manufacturing in Somerset. She was an avid golfer and a very active worker in the Church. She was a great mother and a very helpful friend to all. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Rev. Glenn Sadler officiating. There will be one hour visitation at the church prior to the service. She will be interred at Somerset County Memorial Park. Daily American, January 27, 2003 [B0513]
