Barron, 62, of 259 Stoystown Road, Somerset, died Jan. 29, 1990, at Somerset Hospital. Born July 14, 1927, in Middlecreek Township. Son of A. S. and Marie (Greene) Barron. Preceded in death by parents and infant sister, Juanita. Survived by his wife of 39 years, Hazel Fogle, and these sons: Darrell, Somerset; Wayne A., Friedens, and Thomas E., at home. Also a half-brother, James Crosby, of Somerset. He was employed by New Enterprise Stone and Lime and a U. S. Postal Service contractor. Former Somerset Borough police officer and former operator of Barron's Uptown Boron Station. He was a W. W. II Navy veteran. He attended the Beachdale Church of the Brethren and was a member of the Teamster's Union. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Wilbur Fischer officiating.
