Born Dec. 11, 1936, in Somerset, son of the late John Wesley and Maude Elizabeth (Bruner) Barron. Also preceded in death by stepmother, Bessie I. (Ankney) Barron; brother, Edgar R. Barron; sister, Audrey J. Barron; half-brother, John W. Barron, and half-sister, Rosalyn Barron. Survived by daughter, Mrs. David (Kelly) Anderson, Lakewood, N.Y. Brother of: John W. Barron, Jr., Johnstown; Howard B. Barron, Somerset; Barrie B. Barron, Somerset; Mrs. Emily Grace Harper, Clinton, Md.; Mrs. Gary L. (Sandra M.) Crawford, Rockwood; Dale B. Barron, Gaithersburg, Md.; Cecil C. Barron, Huston, Pa.; and Mrs. Arlene Tomanio, Pittsburgh. Half-brother of Mrs. Romaine Morrison of Bel Air, Md.; Miss Rachael Barron of Aberdeen, Md.; Mrs. Anita Burton of Jacobus, Pa.; and Mrs. Gail Vavrek, Demin, N.M. Member of Samuel's Lutheran Church, Somerset Aerie 1801 Fraternal Order of Eagles. A 1954 graduate of Somerset Area High School. Friends were received Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Edward W. Ebersole officiating.
