  BARRON
  
    Mrs. Elsie M. Barron, 71, Friedens, died Sept. 29, 1977 at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 13, 1906, in Stoneycreek Township, daughter
  of Samuel and Lulu (Fritz) Yoder.  Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  Ira, in April 1977; son, Samuel; two brothers and two sisters.  Survived by
  these children:  Richard, Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Farris (Louella) Ringer,
  Portage, Ind.; Mrs. James  (Peggy) Manges, Elyria, Ohio; Ray Y., Gary,
  Indiana; Mrs. James R. (Donna) Pyle, Somerset RD 1; Emmett W., Friedens RD
  2; Mrs. David (Connie) Bowers, Somerset; and Judy Lee, at home; 21
  grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Orville
  (Violet) Shockey and Bruce, both of Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Clarence (Gladys)
  Walker, Somerset, RD 5.  Member of Friedens Lutheran Church and charter
  member of Friedens Fire Company Auxiliary.  Family received friends
  Thursday evening and will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Remains will be removed to Friedens
  Lutheran Church to lie in state from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m.
  Saturday, the Rev. James R. Ling officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.  The Friedens Fire Hall Auxiliary will have a memorial
  service at 8 p.m. Friday.
