Barron, 72, of Sharon Center, Ohio, died June 7, 1995. Born in Somerset, Fred had been a resident of Sharon Center since 1954. Retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. in 1982 after over 20 years service. Active member of Divinity Lutheran Church in Akron for 50 years, then member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sharon Center. He was a skilled wood worker whose legacy will live forever in the homes of his friends and family. Survived by his wife: Eleanor, daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Rod Rush of Wadsworth, Ohio; son, James of Sharon Center; grandchildren, Bryan and Brad Rush, Laura and Matthew Barron; sisters, Wilma Biancotti of Listie; Ethel Schrock of Somerset; brother, Robert Barron of Elmira, N.Y.; mother-in-law, Olive Long of Sharon Center. Many nieces and nephews. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at Hummel Funeral Home West, 3475 Copley Road, Akron, Ohio, Rev. Jean Hanson officiating. Interment, Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home West from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sharon Center or the Sharon Community Trusts, c/o P.O.
