Born March 22, 1938 in Middlecreek Township. Son of Orlin D. and Edna (Henry) Barron. Preceded in death by parents, daughter Robin and brother Charles. Survived by wife, Joyce, sons, Kim Barron of New Jersey and Mark Silvis of Stoystown, and daughters, Tammy Warhol, Friedens, Shanda Phillippi, Somerset, and Jessica Silvis, Somerset. Also seven grandchildren. Brother of: N. B. Barron, Somerset; Bill Barron, Derry; Betty Singo, Somerset; Gean Emert, Stahlstown; Orlin Jr., Rockwood; Ollie Gorby, Clarington, Ohio; Susie Mullins, Uniontown, Ohio; Bonnie Blough, Rockwood; Violet Maust, Meyersdale; and Linda Zearfoss, Listie. He was a retired truck driver. Member of the Trent Rod and Gun Club and Fraternal Order of Eagles in Somerset. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Pastor Tom Singo officiating.
