  JOHN W. BARRON
  
    John W. Barron Sr., 86, Somerset, died April 8, 1980, in Siemon Lakeview
  Manor.
    He was born Oct. 31, 1893, in Somerset Township, a son of the late
  Charles J. and Rosie (Weigle) Barron. He was preceded in death by parents;
  his first wife, the former Bessie Ankeny; two sons; two daughters; one
  grandson; three brothers and a sister.
    He was survived by his wife, the former Maude Bruner; and these
  children:  Mrs. Romaine Morrison and Mrs. Anita Burton, both of Bel Air,
  Md.; Miss Rachel Aberdeen, Md.; Mrs. Gail Vavrek, Diming, N. Mex.; Mrs.
  Arlene Tomanio, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Sandra Crawford, Rockwood RD 1; Mrs. Emily
  Harper, Camp Springs, Md.; Cecil, Houston; Gale, Gaitersburg, Md.; Ellis and
  Howard, both of Somerset; Barrie, Somerset RD 6; and John W. Jr., Johnstown;
  22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Miss Anna
  Marie Barron, Somerset RD 3.  He was a member of Samuel's Lutheran Church;
  51-year member of F.O.E., Somerset; a life-long Republican; a retired
  farmer.
    Friends were received in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where services
  were conducted with the Rev. Gregory R. Pile officiating.  Interment,
  Samuel's Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to
  your favorite charity.
