Born April 24, 1937, in Jefferson Township. Daughter of Walter Bisel Gardner and Anna Idella (Walters) Gardner. Preceded in death by father and sister, Katherine Gardner. Survived by mother of Somerset; husband of 46 years, Donald Ray Barron; sons, Rodger A. Barron, married to former Tracy Kennedy, of Somerset, Donald L. Barron, married to former DeBora Dunmeyer, of Somerset and Scott M. Barron, and fianc‚ Michelle Boden of Rockwood; and grandchildren: Alysa, Brian and Susan Barron. Sister of Mrs. Daniel (L. Faye) Sarver of Somerset and J. C. Gardner of Orangeburg, S.C. Also survived by special aunt, Ruth M. Baker, of Somerset. Member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and a member of the choir for 40 years. Member of Bakersville Volunteer Fire Co. and Auxiliary. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at noon Saturday at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Bakersville, with the Rev. Edward W. Ebersole officiating. Viewing at the church from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment, Lavansville Cemetery.
