    Martha Jean Barron, 66, Lavansville, went home to be with Jesus, Aug. 4, 2007, at her
  residence. Born Oct. 24, 1940, she is the daughter of the late Paul W. and Corrine
  (Kelly) Howard. Also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Trent; brother, Harold Howard;
  and mother-and father-in-law, Ernest E. and Mary E. Barron. Survived by husband, George
  W. Barron; daughter, Lisa Ann, married to Adam Purbaugh, Rockwood; son, Eric George
  Barron, married to the former Melissa Humberson, Somerset; grandchildren, Derek and
  Kaitlyn at home. Sister of Roger Howard, married to the former Lois Bumbarger, Uniontown;
  and Lois M. Shields, married to Tom Shields, Corsica; and many nieces and nephews. Member
  of Samuels Lutheran Church and a 1958 graduate of Somerset High School. Friends received
  from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset,
  and from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the Samuels Lutheran
  Church. The Rev. Will Osman officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
