Barron, 71, Somerset RD 6, died July 15. 1984, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born March 29, 1913, in Somerset Township, son of the late George and Olive (Hay) Barron. Preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Kay; and a sister, Hazel Barkley. Survived by his wife of 37 years, the former Edna Racey; three children: Wayne M., Eugene E., married to the former Bonnie Ream, and Mrs. Dalton (Ruth) Derberry, all of Somerset RD 6; six grandchildren: Jason, Travis, Rebecca, Chad, Lucas and Kristi. Brother of Mrs. Robert (Mary) Whitehill, Winchester, Va.; Dave, Somerset RD 3; Ernest, Paul and Mrs. Benny (Leanna) Miller, all of Somerset RD 6; and Homer, Somerset RD 7. Member of Samuel's Lutheran Church, Somerset I.O.O.F. Lodge, Pa. Farmers Union, he was a life-long Somerset County, Somerset Township farmer. Friends will be received from 7-9 Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m., with the Rev.
