Barron, 84, of Arbutus Park Manor, formerly of Hollsopple, died Dec. 27, 1985, at home. Born Aug. 30, 1901, in Sipesville, daughter of Edmund and Ida Swank. Preceded in death by parents; one sister; two brothers; husband, Frank O., died 1966; and two sons-in-law. Survived by these children: Kathryn, wife of Hudak Pico, Rivera, Cal.; Margaret, wife of Edward Flagge, Millersville, Md.; Mary Louise, wife of Eugene Naugle, Clarksburg, Cal.; and Shirley, wife of Louis Kyler, Lake Stonycreek, Friedens RD 2; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Sister of Kathrine Brinkman, Maryland; Hobert Woy, Indiana; Mable Milligan, Florida; and Mildred Lee, Pa. Member of Bethel United Methodist Church, the Loyal Friendship Sunday School Class and Hollsopple Senior Citizens. Past president of Hollsopple Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary and Somerset County Firemen Auxiliary. Family receiving friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville. Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel United Methodist Church, Hollsopple, where remains will lie in state from 9 a.m. until time of service, the Rev. Robert Patton.
