  BARRON
  
  Norma A. Barron, 51, of Somerset, died Aug. 23, 2001 in Pittsburgh.  Born
  Dec. 7, 1949 in Somerset, the daughter of Norman E. Thompson and the late
  Audine J. (Shumaker) Thompson, who died in 1985.  Also preceded in death by
  her husband Donald E. Barron who died in 1997.  Also survived by her
  stepmother, Sarah E. (Menser) Gallo Thompson and these children, Nicholle
  and Troy Barron, both at home, and stepbrothers, Jerry Gallo and wife, Pat
  of Warren, Ohio, and Edward Gallo and wife Cathy of Somerset.  Member of
  Faith Lutheran Church.  A 1967 graduate of Somerset High School, and 1969
  graduate of Somerset Area Schools Practical Nursing program.  In 1971 she
  received her diploma for registered nurse at St. Joseph's School of
  Nursing, Pittsburgh, and in 1985 received her certificate of Enterostomal
  Therapy from Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown.  Employed by Somerset
  Hospital as an RN from 1971-80, Lee Hospital Home Care nurse from 1980-88,
  Doctor's Home Health Systems Inc. as an RN in Denver Colo., from 1988-90,
  Medical Personnel Pool at Denver, Colo., from 1990-91 and Somerset Home
  Health since 1991.  Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8,
  in the Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Kenneth Diable officiating. 
  Interment in the Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to
  the Trust Fund for Nicholle and Troy Barron, c/o Somerset Trust Co. Trust
  Dept. P.O. Box 777, Somerset, Pa, 15501.  Arrangements under the direction
  of the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
