Born Feb. 16, 1918 in Somerset County, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Ethel Henry Stoner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert W. Barron, who died in 1993, and one grandchild. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Nicholson and Carole Ingram, both of Hagerstown, Md.; three sons, Wayne J. Barron and Woodrow A. Barron, both of Hagerstown, and Eugene R. Barron of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a sister, Lorraine Smith of Indian Head, and two brothers, John Stoner of Rockwood and Theodore Stoner of Friends; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Longmeadow Church of the Brethren. She assisted her husband with the Poultry Processing Plant business in Kingwood and was also co-owner of the Colonial Motel. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, Md. The Rev. Larry Patterson will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
