  THELMA A. BARRON
  
  Thelma A. Barron, 71, Rockwood, died Aug. 27, 2004, at her residence.  Born June 
  27, 1933, in Somerset, daughter of the late William and Viola (Purbaugh) 
  Romesburg.  Also preceded in death by husband, Kenneth E. Barron Sr.; children, 
  Danny and Francis Popovich.  Survived by children: Donald and wife, Sharon, 
  Somerset; Bryan and wife, Mary, Somerset; David and wife, Lori, Meyersdale; Roy 
  and wife, Lisa, Rockwood; Kenneth Jr., Rockwood; Ralph and wife, Malinda, 
  Meyersdale; Jeff and wife, Penny, Somerset; Stanley and wife, Tammy, Somerset; 
  Steve and wife, Jennifer, Edie; Marlene and husband, Dave, Pittsburgh; and 21 
  grandchildren.  Sister of Frank, Jim, William, Sam and John Romesburg, Dwight 
  Yoder, Mary Wellington and Shirley Halle.  Attended the Baptist Gospel 
  Tabernacle.  Friends were received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Robert H.  
  Halverson Funeral Home where service was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday.  The Rev.  
  John Ludwick officiating.  Interment Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
