  BARTON
  
    Helen R. Barton, 81, of Somerset, passed away Oct. 28, 2000 at home. 
  Born Feb. 9, 1919 in McKeesport, daughter of the late Clyde and Queen
  Esther (John) Bennett.  Preceded in death by husband William H. Barton in
  1980, sister Queen Esther May and an infant brother.  Survived by son Gary
  (married to Helen) Barton of Berlin; daughter Lynda (married to James)
  McDevitt of Dallas, Tx.;  grandchildren Wade and Adam (married to Sandy)
  Barton and Jennifer and Victoria McDevitt; and great-grandchildren:  Will,
  Sierra and Wyatt Barton.  She was a co-owner of the W.H. Barton Insurance
  Agency in Somerset with her husband from 1962 to 1981.  Member of St.
  Paul's Presbyterian Church in Somerset.  Friends will be received from
  11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller
  Funeral Home, Somerset.  Rev. Melvin Kirk officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Holy Trinity
  Evangelical Lutheran Church, 525 Main St., Berlin, Pa. 15530.
