  WILLIAM H. BARTON
  
    William H. Barton, 63, of East Main Street, Somerset, died Oct. 28, 1980,
  at his residence.
    He was born March 14, 1917, in Allegheny County, son of the late Clifton
  S. and Mabel K. (Kemper) Barton.  He was preceded in death by brother, Paul.
    He is survived by his widow, the former Helen R. Bennett; one son, Gary,
  of Berlin; daughter, Mrs. James (Lynda) McDevitt of Vienna, Va.; three
  grandchildren.  He was the brother of:  Mrs. Mabel Kemp, St. Petersburg,
  Fla.; Mrs. Betty Cook, Portview; Clifton G. Barton, Morrisville.
    He was the owner and operator of the William H. Barton Insurance Agency,
  which he founded in 1964.  He was the past president of the Duncansville
  Kiwanis Club.  Member and past president of the Somerset Lions Club; member
  and past director of the Professional Insurance Agents Association; member
  of the Pennsylvania Independent Insurance Agents Association; director of
  the Everett Cash Mutual Insurance Company; past director of the Easter Seal
  Society; member and elder of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset.
    Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home.
    Funeral services were held with the Rev. Carl R. Hull officiating, at St.
  Paul's Presbyterian Church.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  In
  lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Paul's Presbyterian
  Church, 132 East Union St., Somerset.  The Somerset Lions Club conducted a
  memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
