   Barbara R. (Hilliard) Basinger, 72, Mill Run, died Feb. 13, 2007, at Eichers Family
  Home, Normalville. She was born April 24, 1934, in Confluence, a daughter of Harry and
  Margaret ÒPegÓ (Warrick) Hilliard. She is preceded in death by parents; husband, Jacob
  Basinger; sister, Beulah ÒBootsÓ Kemp; and brothers, David Hilliard and Gary James
  Hilliard. She is survived by sisters, Elaine Hachman, Confluence; Joanna Hiles, Hyndman;
  Dorothy Patterson, Houston; Glenda Fike, Vanderbilt; and Harriet Sue Shaffer, Lemont
  Furnace; brothers, Dale Hilliard, Confluence; and George Hilliard, Genessee. Barbara is a
  1953 graduate of Confluence High School and retired from McCrory's Department Store in
  Connellsville. She was a member of Hampton Church of God Mill Run. Friends will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence,
  where a service will be held 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Duane Riddle officiating. Interment
  in Normalville Cemetery.
