  GOLDIE BASINGER
  
    Goldie E. Basinger, 73, Confluence RD 1, died June 11, 1976, at home. 
  She was born Feb. 11, 1903 in Maple Summit, the daughter of the late Joseph
  and Catherine Ohler Rugg.
    She is survived by the following children:  Jane Heckler, Connellsville;
  Eugene Shipley, Niles, Ohio; Lois Gyorko, Fort Hill; Lola Bittinger,
  Hopwood; Ila Mae Wiltrout, Listonburg; Herbert Basinger, Confluence; Ronald
  Basinger of California; Joseph Basinger of Ursina; Mrs. Elaine Clevenger of
  Confluence and the following brothers and sisters:  Harvey, Eli, Ed and
  Nelson Rugg, all of Confluence, RD 1; Mrs. Mae Collins, Confluence RD 1;
  Mrs. Fossie Costello, Michigan; Mrs. Iva Alesantrino, Confluence RD 1; Mrs.
  Hazel Close, South Bend, Ind.; Mrs. Sylvia Ohler, Confluence RD 1; 47
  grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin, and three sons:
  Frank, Fred and Jerry.  Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence where funeral services were held June 14 with the Rev. John
  Foote officiating.  Interment, Maple Summit Cemetery.
