  BASS
  
    Thomas Blair Bass, 80, Mechanicville, N.Y., formerly of Johnstown and
  Tyrone, died Jan. 6, 1984, at home.
    He was born June 7, 1903, in Meyersdale, son of Luther Lee and Betty
  Lewis (Kennerly) Bass.  He was preceded in death by his wife, former Janeta
  Putman, whom he married Aug. 29, 1937, in Johnstown.
    He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Cheri Dow, with whom he resided and
  three grandchildren.
    He had operated a service station in Moxham for many years and moved to
  Tyrone, where he operated Bass Radiator Service for 30 years.
    A memorial service was held at Jonesville United Methodist Church,
  Clifton Park, N.Y.
