  BASSETT
  
    Brian Dale Bassett, 14, of Hooversville RD 1, died April 2, 1987, at
  Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born June 9, 1972 in Johnstown, son of
  Ralph and Linda (Holsopple) Bassett of Hooversville RD 1.  A brother of
  Daryl, U.S. Air Force, San Antonio, Texas; Janice, Plano, Texas; Edith and
  Denise, both at home.  Also survived by maternal grandparents, Seward and
  Kathleen (Naugle) Holsopple of Hooversville RD 1; paternal grandparents,
  the Rev. Harry and Ruby (Horner) Bassett of Hollsopple RD 1; numerous
  aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  A member of Freedom Baptist Church,
  Somerset, and attended Grade 9 at Freedom Christian School.  Family will
  receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday
  at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at 11 a.m.
  Monday, Pastors, Larry L. Deffenbaugh and David Cyphert officiating. 
  Memorial contributions may be given to the Brian Bassett Memorial Fund. 
  Checks may be made to the Northern Somerset County Lutheran Brotherhood
