  BASSETT
  
    Ruby E. Bassett, 81, Hollsopple RD 1, died July 28, 1993 at the Church of
  the Brethren Home, Windber.  Born Dec. 10, 1911 in Johnstown, daughter of
  the late Jackson and Maude (Bowers) Horner.  Preceded in death by grandson,
  Brian Bassett, two brothers and a sister.  Survived by husband of 59 years,
  Rev. Harry W. Bassett and these children:  Mrs. Fred (Myrna) Baer, Friedens
  RD 1; Mrs. John (Winona) Zehner, Somerset RD 7; Ralph, married to the former
  Linda Holsopple, Hooversville RD 1; and Mrs. Clair (Alana) Saylor, Rockwood
  RD 2; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Catherine Eppley,
  Pittsburgh; Gladys Rose and Ivy Tilley, both of Johnstown; and Goldie Clark,
  Cleveland, Ohio.  Member of Hooversville Church of the Brethren and the
  Brethren Home Auxiliary.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville. 
  Services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hooversville Church of the Brethren. 
  No viewing in the church.  Rev. Ronald D. Beachley.  Interment, Baer
  Cemetery, Friedens RD 1.  Memorial contributions may be given to the
  charity of the donor's choice.
