  BASSETT
  
    Ruth L. Bassett, 71, of Meyersdale, died Aug. 14, 2003, at Meyersdale
  Medical Center.  Born Oct. 17, 1931, in Meyersdale.  A daughter of the late
  Allen and Viola (Fuller) Hahn.  Also preceded in death by her husband,
  Robert A. "Wimp" Bassett; a sister Wanda "Betty" Patterson and a brother
  Charles Amos Hahn.  Survived by her daughter, Terrie, wife of Ronald J.
  Baer, York, Pa.; and grandson, Michael P. Baer, Meyersdale.  A sister of
  James W. Hahn, Somerset; and Margaret, wife of Ralph Dietle, Meyersdale. 
  Ruth was a member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church (White Oak) and was retired
  from Meyersdale Manufacturing.  Friends will be received 3 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where a service will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Larry Black officiating. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be
  made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, American Cancer Society or the Cystic
  Fibrosis Foundation.
