  BASSLER
  
    Doris J. Bassler, 65, Ligonier RD 1, died Aug. 22 at Latrobe Area
  Hospital.  Born July 27, 1933, in Stoystown, daughter of the late Ralph
  Blanset and Myrtle (Spangler) Blanset Lape, of Stoystown.  Survived by
  daughters, Mrs. Daryl (Denise) Brubaker, McAllisterville, Pa., and Mrs.
  James (Diane) Haines, Greensburg; sons, Richard C. and wife Cynthia
  Bassler, Cairnbrook, and William W. Bassler, Central City; 7 grandchildren;
  and brother, Ralph Blanset, Stoystown.  She was a member of Stoystown
  Lutheran Church.  Visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday at J. Paul
  McCracken Funeral Home Inc., Ligonier, where funeral will be held at 10
  a.m. Tuesday.  Rev. Charles P. Burd, officiating.  Interment in Stoystown
  Odd Fellows' Cemetery.
