Basye, 77, Acosta, died Feb. 19, 1984, at Mercy Hospital. Born Aug. 30, 1906, in Westernport, Md., son of Jonas and Dora Basye. Preceded in death by parents; three brothers: Frank, Price and John; sister, Liza. Survived by widow, the former Nellie Avery; two sons: Kenneth, married to the former Phyllis Hornsby and Terry, married to the former Lillian Aurora, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Brother of: Pearl Rhoads, Mildred Parker, Nathan all of Keyser, W. Va.; Clinton, Ansted, W. Va. Member of Grace Brethren Church, Jenners, and U.M.W.A. Retired miner. Celebrated 57th wedding anniversary May 27, 1983. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Huffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev.
