Baughman, 80, of Charleroi, formerly of Somerset, died Feb. 28, 1985. in Charleroi. Born Oct. 23, 1905, in Somerset Township, a son of Lloyd and Alameda (Gumbert) Baughman. Survived by his widow, the former Elizabeth Pyle; and three daughters: Phyllis Reis, Randallstown, Md.; Charlotte Kimmel, Shanksville; Doris Townsend, Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; also the following half-brothers and half-sisters: Marie Handrote and Elsie Baughman, Somerset; Louella Harrison and Lester Baughman, Acosta; Melvine Golby, Ohio; George Gumbert, Berlin; Milton Moore, Pittsburgh; Alverda Higginbothan, Carnegie; and Catherine Ebough, Front Royal, Va.; Annabel Beaber, Sherrodsville, Ohio; Peggy Williams and Henry Gumbert, both of Springfield, Va. He was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church, Elizabeth, Pa. Also a member of the Operating Engineers Union No. 66 in Monroeville. Friends were received Friday evening and will be received Saturday (today) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m., the Rev.
