  BAUGHMAN
  
    John J. Baughman, 72, of 222 Allegheny St., Boswell, died Aug. 27, 1974,
  at home.  Born Nov. 8, 1901 in Brothersvalley Township, a son of Harvey J.
  and Minerva Pritz Baughman.  Preceded in death by parents, three brothers
  and a sister.  Survived by widow, the former Audrey Hartshorne; he was a
  brother of Mrs. Leora Samuel, Boswell.  Leila, wife of Earl Christner,
  Garrett RD 1.  Mrs. Marian Wilkinson of Kelso.  Mrs. Ruth Fry, Berlin RD 1,
  and Harold J. Jerome.  Was a retired foreman for the former Hillman Coal and
  Coke Co., Jerome; was a Boy Scout leader for many years; was a past member
  of Boswell Water Authority serving 25 years; charter member of Boswell
  Lions Club; a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Boswell where he
  served a number of terms on the church council.  Friends received from 7-9
  p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral
  Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Friday with the Rev. George A. Clark.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads
  Cemetery.
