Born Aug. 3, 1906 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Louis Calvin and Mabel (Rich) Coates. Preceded in death by parents, husband Alfred M. Bauman, who died Feb. 23, 1970, and daughter Doris Cavanaugh. Survived by granddaughter Ann Cavanaugh of Closter, N.J., grandson Jeff Cavanaugh of Cincinnati, Ohio, son-in-law Gerald J. Cavanaugh of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister-in-law Mildred Schrock and nephew Dr. Stanley Schrock of Somerset, and niece Loretta Davidson of Mechanicsburg. She grew up in Lovettsville, Va., and lived in Somerset for about 50 years where she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and belonged to the Bycota Circle. She also lived in Sebring, Fla., and Cumberland, Md., where she belonged to the Golden Agers. There will not be viewing or visitation. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. The Rev. Susan H. Yatta, pastor, officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
