KATY BAUMAN

  Mrs. Katy (Cook) Bauman, 70, of Glencoe R.D. died Friday, February 22, at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Bruce Ackerman, of Meyersdale R.D. 2.  She was the 
wife of Manasseh H. Bauman.
  A lifelong resident of Northampton Township, she was born on May 18, 1875, a 
daughter of Jess and Adeline (Schrock) Cook.  Besides her husband, she leaves a 
son, Theodore, Glencoe R.D.; a sister, Mrs. Edward Spratz, Carnegie, and three 
grandchildren.  The deceased was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Evangelical and 
Reformed Church.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Mt. Lebanon Church 
by Rev. J. E. Gindlesperger, pastor.  Interment in the church cemetery under 
direction of H. R. Konhaus.
