SARAH M. BAUMAN

  Mrs. Sarah M. Bauman, 80, of Meyersdale R.D. 2, died Friday, Dec. 27, at her 
home following an illness of several weeks.  She was born in Somerset County, a 
daughter of John and Adelaide (Hay) Stahl, and was the widow of Ephraim Bauman, 
who died 13 years ago.
  Six children survive: Mrs. A. T. Naugle, Hooversville, R.D. 1; Mrs. William 
Snyder, Garrett R.D. 1; Laura, Homer, Iva L. and Ralph W. Bauman, all at home; 
also two brothers, Prof. Elmer Stahl, Freemont, Neb., and Rev. Robert M. Stahl, 
Baltimore, Md., and a sister, Mrs. Susan Wensing, Meyersdale R.D.
  Funeral services were held Monday at Hay Reformed Church at 2 p.m., Rev. F. D. 
Witmer officiating.  Burial in the church cemetery under the direction of 
Johnson & Son of Berlin.
