  DARLENE S. BAUMGARDNER
  
  Darlene S. Baumgardner, 57, of Friedens went to be with the Lord Feb. 2, 2004, 
  at home.  Born Oct. 12, 1946, in Somerset daughter of the late Clarence F. and 
  Blanche H. (Landis) Suter.  Survived by her husband of 39 years, Edward W. Jr.; 
  son, E. Alan married to the former Trudy Kimmel of Friedens; grandsons, Brady 
  and Brendan Baumgardner; brothers James and Karl Suter both of Somerset; sister 
  Mrs. Harold (Shirley) Weigle of Fairfax, Va.; stepsister, Mrs. Robert (Mary) 
  Gnagey of Hermitage, and stepbrother Harvey Suter of Somerset.  She was a 
  secretary at Friedens Elementary, Somerset School district for 28 years.  Member 
  of St. Paul's' United Church of Christ, Somerset, Friedens Volunteer Fire Co., 
  Stoystown Lioness Club, Appalachian Wagon Train.  Family will receive friends 
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where 
  the Stoystown Lioness Club will hold a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Viewing 
  from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's U.C.C., Somerset.  
  The Rev. Dr. Herbert R. Hicks officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial 
  Park.  Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul's U.C.C., 202 W. Union 
  St., Somerset, Pa. 15501, or "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset,
