    Mary L. "Cookie" "Coffee Pot" Baxendale, 57, Windber died Feb. 20,
  2001.  Born March 30, 1943 in Scalp Level, daughter of the late Frank and
  Clara (Custer) Helsel.  Preceded in death by first husband Larry Miller and
  brother George.  Survived by husband Melvin and children, Woody, married to
  the former Dyana Crew, Baltimore, Leroy C. Lark, Ft. Washington, Md.; 
  Debbie, wife of Brian Reighard, Johnstown, and Andrew Clark, Windber.  Also
  numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Sister of Violet Shuster
  and Walter Helsel, both of Windber,  Member of Scalp Level Trinity UMC, and
  All American CB Club and Crime Watch, both of Johnstown.  Volunteer for
  Seventh Ward Ambulance Service and REACT, Johnstown.  Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and from 7 until time of service at 8 pm. Friday at
  Meek Funeral Home Inc., Windber, the Rev. Art Moffat officiating.  In lieu
  of flowers contributions are requested to Mary's family to help defray
  funeral and interment expenses.
